Great Rift Transportation was formed in 1990. We are a local company that specializes in hauling agricultural commodity products, custom storage loading & unloading, heavy equipment hauling, side-dump services, custom harvesting & planting, and a truck & trailer wash-out. Great Rift is headquartered in American Falls, ID, and offers our services throughout Idaho.

Great Rift Transportation start in American Falls, Idaho
2008
Addition
Lamb Weston American Falls Hauling Addition

In 2008, Great Rift Transportation took over all hauling, and scooping needs for Lamb Weston in American Falls.

2017
Awarded
Awarded Lamb Weston Harvest Storage Loading

Lamb Weston awarded Great Rift Transportation to unload and put hundreds of millions of pounds of potatoes into storage.

2022
Expansion
Custom Harvesting Division is Added

As Great Rift continued to expand, a custom grain, sugar beet, and potato harvesting division was added for growers.

Tech Integration
Integration of Web-Based Software

The first year we implemented software to allow us to live track and get live video transmission from our semis, anywhere on the planet.

New Headquarters
New Headquarters Established

After the fire in 2021 to our old shop, we have finished our new building in American Falls putting all operations under one roof.
